Sprint Planning (Day 1)
PM reviews backlog with client, prioritises sprint items, engineering team estimates story points, and sprint goal is documented and agreed.
Documented requirements, 2-week sprints, weekly demos — the delivery infrastructure that makes offshore work.
Structured From the Start
We don't improvise delivery. Every project — regardless of size — goes through the same four phases with defined gates between each. Nothing moves forward until the previous phase's outputs are signed off. This prevents the scope creep, miscommunication, and rework that derails most software projects.
Our clients describe working with limestack as "different from every other offshore agency we've tried" — the difference is always the process, not just the personnel.
Sprint Cadence
PM reviews backlog with client, prioritises sprint items, engineering team estimates story points, and sprint goal is documented and agreed.
Engineers work through sprint tickets with daily async standup updates (video or written) so you're never left wondering what's happening.
Dedicated QA engineers test the sprint delivery against acceptance criteria. Bugs are raised, fixed, and re-tested before the sprint demo.
Live walkthrough of working software in the staging environment. Client provides feedback. Sprint retrospective and next sprint planning follows immediately.
QA Process
Every user story has defined acceptance criteria. QA engineers test against each criteria point with documented pass/fail results before sign-off.
Automated and manual regression testing ensures new features don't break existing functionality. Regression suites maintained per project.
Testing matrix covering Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile browsers on iOS and Android at key responsive breakpoints.
Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and load testing for high-traffic pages. Performance budgets set at project start and enforced per sprint.
Tooling Stack
Jira or Linear for sprint tracking, backlog management, and issue reporting. You have full read/write access to your project board throughout.
Slack or Microsoft Teams with dedicated channels per project, shared with your team. Daily async standups and instant availability for questions.
GitHub or GitLab. Your repository, your ownership. Branching strategy, PR reviews, and commit message standards documented in the project handbook.
GitHub Actions or GitLab CI pipelines with automated testing gates. Separate development, staging, and production environments from day one.
FAQs
Yes. If you have existing Jira, Linear, Asana, or other PM tooling, we'll integrate into your setup. We adapt to your workflow rather than forcing you to adopt ours — with one requirement: a structured sprint-based backlog that gives our engineers clear priorities and acceptance criteria.
Change is normal. Our change management process involves a written change request, impact assessment on timeline and budget, and client sign-off before the change is incorporated. Small scope adjustments within a sprint are handled with sprint-level prioritisation; larger changes are scoped as a new sprint or project phase.
Timezone overlap is engineered into every project. Our project managers work in your timezone or close to it. Engineers maintain a 3–4 hour daily overlap window for real-time collaboration. Detailed async updates ensure nothing is blocked overnight while you sleep.
